1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Wanloo platform ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions, you must not access or use the Service. Wanloo reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the Service after any such modification constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. We will notify registered users of material changes via email or in-app notification.
2. Service Description
Wanloo is a middleware platform that connects pet owners with financing options and insurance coverage through participating veterinary clinics. Wanloo facilitates the connection between pet owners, veterinary clinics, lending partners, and insurance providers. Wanloo is NOT a bank, lender, credit provider, or insurance company. All financing is provided by licensed third-party lending partners, and all insurance coverage is underwritten by licensed insurance providers. Wanloo does not make credit decisions, underwrite loans, or guarantee financing approval.
3. Eligibility
To use the Wanloo Service, you must: (a) be at least 18 years of age; (b) be a resident of Canada; (c) have a valid email address; (d) provide accurate and complete registration information. By registering, you represent and warrant that you meet all eligibility requirements. Wanloo reserves the right to refuse service, terminate accounts, or cancel transactions at its sole discretion if eligibility requirements are not met.
4. Account Terms
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to update such information as necessary. You must notify Wanloo immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Wanloo is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your failure to maintain the security of your account.
5. Payment Terms
All financing terms — including interest rates, repayment schedules, fees, and approval criteria — are set exclusively by Wanloo's partner lenders. All insurance coverage terms, premiums, and claims processes are determined by Wanloo's partner insurers. Wanloo facilitates the connection but does not underwrite, guarantee, or assume liability for any financing agreement or insurance policy. Repayment obligations are between you and the lending partner. Insurance claims are between you and the insurance provider. Please review all partner terms carefully before accepting any financing or insurance offer.
6. Fees
Wanloo charges participating veterinary clinics a transaction fee for each approved financing transaction processed through the platform. There are no hidden fees charged to pet owners for using the Wanloo platform. Pet owners may be subject to interest, fees, or charges as determined by the lending partner under the terms of their financing agreement. Any applicable fees will be clearly disclosed before you accept any offer.
7. Intellectual Property
The Wanloo name, logo, platform, software, content, and all associated intellectual property are owned by Wanloo Inc. and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from any Wanloo materials without prior written consent. All trademarks, service marks, and trade names displayed on the platform are the property of their respective owners.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Wanloo Inc., its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, regardless of the cause of action or the theory of liability. Wanloo's total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees paid by you to Wanloo in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies whether the alleged liability is based on contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other basis.
9. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Province of Ontario, Canada. You agree to submit to the personal jurisdiction of such courts.
